I have a PS2 and purchased this game for the songs. The songs are great but it is very aggravating to play due to the slow loading times between songs and distortion through the Rock Band Microphone when to try to turn up the volume to hear yourself. I am not exaggerating folks. . . about a full minute of loading between each song, regardless of play mode and you can not turn the volume up past mid range on my Sony TV without distortion in the microphone! The mic also pics up the drums and throws your scoring off on the mic. This happened even after I adjusted the options on the game. I am an avid Rock Band player and the speed of Rock Band smoaks Band Hero. I regret the purchase and wish I would have waited for the PS2 reviews. The only plus to the game is the song selection.

I ordered this product for a friend of mine for Christmas, only to find out another friend had already purchased it, so I had to cancel my order. Unfortunately, the order had already entered the shipping process, and could not be canceled. [. . . ] was very helpful in getting me a return label. They made this holiday inconvenience smoother than it could have been. Although my refund took longer than I would have liked, I only have good things to say about this seller.

The game itself,now that my friend has it, is really fun. I like that it has a wide variety of music on it. I also really like that I can just do the vocals without an instrument. Really fun game!

I can’t believe this game was even allowed on the market. Who came up with the idea of placing a character in a city to kill innocent, upstanding citetzens and steal their cars for money. This guy serves no purpose at all but just to be a damn terrorist if you know what I mean. THis game will scare you and is only good for people who hate authority figures and would like to become a mass murderur. Hw dare anyone call the inhumane slaughter of humans humerous. Usually, an ordinary violent game would contain a good guy fighting to save the world and protecting innocent beings or something like that. However, that is not the case in GTA3. And the violence toward weomen is unspeakable. Having sex in a car with a prostitute and then killing her is not funny nor is it at all entertaining. THis game should be banned from the world. And I thought Max Payne was violent. TO THE COMPANY WHO CAME UP WITH THIS SICK GAME:Get your hands out of your sick little pants and make games that DON’T allow you to kill innocent people just for the hell of it. THat isnt entertainment. Its INHUMANE and teaches nothing but cruelty to other humans.

As a mother of a teenage son and a legal advocate to end violence against women, I am appalled at your decision to distribute and market this video as a,”game”. This video awards points for killing a prostitute although the the poor player loses some of his money. A woman is raped, beaten, and murdered in this country every three seconds!!!!! Your video is socially irresponsible and continues to perpetrate myths that violence of any kind is funny or acceptable. I sincerely do not believe that our founding fathers had this in mind when implimenting the First Amendment. You should be ashamed! I, nor my family, will purchase another Sony product again, or use your website. Saddened in PA.

i really like this game but it is way to hard and the graphics [stink]. it looks like a 2D game. And the games about 500,000,000 hours long!!!!!!! it takes way to long to get from one island to the other. out of a 1-200 rating i give it a 30. i would have gave it a zero star but it wouldn’t let me. overall this game stinks!! have a nice day

Grand Theft Auto used to be such a fun game when the first title hit us a few years back, but it’s become quite boring. I played with a copy of GTA 3 at a game show and was disappointed. Even though the graphics and speed have improved, I just couldn’t feel excited about the gameplay. Spend your money wisely elsewhere.

When I purchased the Metal Gear Solid Essential Collection, I was expecting the whole deal! All the extras, the VR missions, PSP ACID games and then the Persistence disc for Metal Gear Solid 3. I am not like other gamers on this site in the sense that I will come down hard on Konami North America for once again showing its disrespect for us true die hard traditional gamers in the United States! It is galling that even after seeing how many people are willing to pay the extra dollars here in the U. S. A. for all the new technologies and bell whistles that come with them that these U. S. companies STILL labor under the impression that anything new here should come half completed, whereas in Japan they get the whole kit and kaboodle.

To anybody that buys this product, please read the box and item summary before you purchase it. If you are a Metal Gear fanatic like myself, you will be totally disappointed in the utter lack of extras. An essential collection this is not!

Ok i just bought this and i was VERY dissapointed. All it is is disc 1 of mgs3 subsistance without extras, mgs2 substance (which i’ll admit IS hard to find cheap), and the PLAYSTATION ONE version of mgs1! I have all these already! Now don’t get me wrong, if you’re new to the series and interested in metal gear then get it. Its a great deal! But also get a ps one memory card because your gonna need that for the 1st game. But if ur already a fan, you probably already have these discs. THERE’S NOTHING NEW HERE! I just wish someone woulda told ME that 35 dollars ago. All that could be considered new is the cover art of the game cases. That’s it! Worth 35 bucks? Only if your new.

I’ve read outstanding reviews for these games from every outlet, but, upon trying them myself, these are awful games.

Although these games “pioneered” the stealth/action video game genre, truth be told, I enjoyed the entire Splinter Cell (Ubisoft) series of games far more than these Metal Gear games.

This series of games just wasn’t for me. I did not enjoy them at all.
